Husqvarna sells through a network of independent distributors and resellers across Europe. Chainsaws, robotic mowers, trimmers - products that sit in showrooms until a salesperson pushes them. The question is not whether incentives work. It is how to run them at scale without drowning in spreadsheets.
Traditional distributor incentive programmes rely on manual processes. Distributors submit proofs of sale by email or post. A trade marketing team collects, verifies, cross-references, and eventually triggers bonus payments - weeks or months later. By then, the motivational effect is gone. 1 in 3 retail sales is tied to a promotional or incentive programme, and up to 12% of claims contain processing errors. Husqvarna needed a platform that could handle the full cycle automatically: collect proofs of sale from hundreds of distributors, validate them against campaign rules, detect duplicates and fraud, and distribute bonuses in real time via VISA Commercial or bank transfer - across multiple countries and product lines.

Bonus calculated
Validated sales trigger automatic bonus calculations based on predefined incentive structures - flat rates, tiered bonuses, volume accelerators. No manual computation.
Payout distributed
Bonuses are distributed automatically to each distributor. Real-time dashboard gives Husqvarna's trade marketing team full visibility on programme performance, costs, and distributor engagement.
